Hours:  Day 1 & 2 - 8 am to 5pm; Day 3 - 8 am to 1pm

Cost includes current NASSCO manual including MACP/LACP manuals

Instructor: Rod Thornhill, PE, President, White Rock Consultants

This class includes the PACP (latest Version 7.04), MACP and LACP  with the certification exam at the conclusion of each class.  Provides PDH credit (Professional Development Hours) and/or CEUs for Professional Engineers. Upon completion of the 3 day course you will receive the following: 2.5 CEU credits issued by UT Arlington and PACP Certificate of Completion Card issued by NASSCO.

The goal of an effective collection system inspection program should be to continually improve the performance of the operation and maintenance, and reduce the number of sanitary sewer overflows, customer complaints, and service interruptions. Rod’s approach is “every pipe needs a plan.”

Class Topics:

  • Introduction to NASSCO and PACP/MACP/LACP

  • Sewer Coding System

  • Identifying pipe structural defects (type, clock position, length, distance of displacement, percent cross sectional reduction)

  • Identifying maintenance related defects (roots, debris)

  • Construction features (taps, sags, pipe material changes)
