Class Detail - Operations of Activated Sludge Plant
Class time: 8 am - 5 pm (Day 1 & 2) and 8 am - 12 pm (Day 3) to ensure 20 hours of instruction.

The Operations of Activated Sludge Plant course covers the fundamentals of biological treatments, the suspended growth process, and activated sludge processes. This course includes instruction designed to help operators have a better understanding of plant observations, a return sludge flow control strategy, sludge wasting controls and a dissolved oxygen control strategy. During the course, participants also covered during this training is sludge quality indicators and process control indicators.
Completing this course provides continuing education credit for the following licenses:
